Our programmes

Skills acquisition and empowerment

Vocational, digital and entrepreneurial training that helps women and young people build sustainable livelihoods.

Youth unemployment is high across the South South, and training on its own does not fix it. We teach a trade and then help people start working in it.

What we teach

Our vocational courses cover soap making, nylon production, disinfectant production and baking. Our digital courses cover basic computer literacy and ICT. Courses are aimed particularly at women and young people.

Starting up

Training ends with equipment, not a certificate alone. We provide the essential tools a graduate needs to begin, because the gap between learning a skill and earning from it is usually the cost of the first set of equipment.

The aim is independence: a livelihood that holds up without us, and one less reason for a young person to be drawn into the social problems that follow unemployment.

Connected work

Change works when
everything connects.

This programme does not stand alone. Here is the rest of it.
